So today in the MV the Kluth had numbers roughly even to ICC (not entirely sure because of cloak) and i thought the battles went pretty good. The point I'm making is, with the player numbers balancing out again it does not seem like the 25% to shields makes ICC OP, but rather on the level. Would like to know if anybody else agrees with this?

I truely don't notice too much of a difference. ICC ships still die when attacked properly. I'm talking about fleet action, hitting one target with multiple ships. I'm not sure how they fare in a one on one...
Just my thoughts.

ok i been saying this all along and ben getting hammerd almost to the point of saing fF this game...
come on guys.. attack them to like you attacked me...
and the funny thing is it was all ICC attacking me... and it was the KLuth that was agreeing with me.
thank u come again
in a different note.. after spending some time as kluth i discovered that the smaller kluth ships.. destroyers, friggs, and scouts, cant scratch a ship of simular class of icc... let alone a ship of higher class.
maby just reduce shields on destroyers friggs and scouts for icc.

First.
I might be able to shed light on that issue. As u know, alot of smaller icc ships come with Reactive Shlds. These recover from light to medim dmg very quickly, (but not so good with heavy dmg, which is why bigger ship use Active shld) This combined with the long duration, low damg nature of dressy-dressy, scout-scout dogfights. Tip the favor slightly towards ICC.(this condition is reversed for Dreads, which is why i support the Shld buff for this patch)
Kluth can cloak, but in this case, every time u cloak give icc scout more time to recover, giving the impression that u cannot dmg em.
My suggestion for dressy and frig fights, ur choice of ships should be Beak and Stinger, Cloak, match their speed, get close (-100gu) on their tail, uncloak, shot. They have a hard time shaking u off, and u get to shot their aft consistantly it WILL go through their shld.
BUT back to topic:
I would simply like to point out to Kluth and Ugto players that what U feel right now is EXACTLY how Icc player felt when 1.500 first came out, when Kluth got a armor buff and Ugto got exlusive use of BOTH ablative AND reflective armor.
ICC LOST access to Reflective armor, and Auxilary Shld got nerfed, huge fleets of supply Platforms appeared.
Do I support the 25% shield buff??
With Reflective armor (-30%beam) Ablative(-30physical) and Supply plat that DON'T repair shields.
u betcha. [ This Message was edited by: Delando on 2009-12-05 19:47 ]

i think the illusion of not easy to damage comes from shield rotating on small ship
if i'm attacked and hit from multiple sides as scout by smaller ships my shields are gone fast
ofcourse i die in single alpha spacebar smash from Kluth dread

I will always stand by.
"the more the better" for testing.
until we can get roughly 20-30 people on each time. we could never get any proper "tweaking" or "nerfing" right.
