Wow, it's not like you're being nerfed. You went from 0 resistance to 15% resistance, and you're complaining. Sure, for a few days it was 25% but that proved to be too much.

Would you like me to just make you invincible while I'm at it? The buff was geared too directly against one faction. Making the ICC the anti K'luth is definitely not the solution.

1) ok.. then just give us more shield HP...
2) or lower our damage by 5 to 10 percent and let us keep the shield....
3) or make kluth undetectable untill less than 800gu out...
kluth and icc players alike all agreed on these terms...
only one tho
just some ideas to keep icc as the def faction we are ment to be

Excellent, we have achieved what was probably intended in the first place. A buff just large enough to seem like it would make a difference and make that faction happy but in reality too small to actually affect anything in the game.

small tweaks are better than large ones.
Point may be proven by the fact that they are going to back down from a large move.
Personally I still say it's just the misconception of how to battle against shields and poor habits that are causing the howling.
All three factions are somewhat back the way they should be. The ICC has to be fought different than the other two factions. The K'luth are fought different than the other two factiions. The UGTo are fought different than the other two factions.
That is the way it was and ought to be.
Hopefully the tweak down is not too bad. Maybe all the changes of enhancements and shields happened faster than their effects could be observed.
At any rate, I still support the small tweaks as opposed to the large changes. They may not seem like much at the time, but that's better than a game breaker that takes months to get rid of.

this, and removal of enhancements. they are only throwing off the balance. seriously, Enhancements are throwing the balance out of the window that the devs are trying to achieve.

There are some other more important changes due to hit the next release candidate that will make the shield adjustments seem like a small issue in comparison. These are all part of our attempts to restore individual flavors and play styles to each faction. I am very surprised that no one has commented on these so far.

You and me and a few others have been saying this for a long time. There is no need for enhancements. The game lasted about 7 years without them, and now that we have them balance is thrown out of whack.
At the very least, I want the advanced/rare enhancements to drop from players instead of elites. And not just stations, but all player ships (naturally a scout would have less chance than a station). Farming for enhancements simply doesn't belong in this game. Enhancements themselves aren't needed.
Get rid of them all, and factions are then balanced properly as they are on paper.
