Idea: Fighter Control Panel |

(Excuse me posting so many topics on fighters in such a short time)
Why dont we have a Fighter Control Panel for carriers.
functions of it:
monitor status and numbers of fighters out there
target designation
interceptor auto-targeting on/off
display fuel level(fighters seem to disappear after a while)
Quick refuel option with auto on/off(it RTB's then re-launches after 10 sec)
Formation settings(eg. 2 grps of 2, group of 3 in triangle, etc)
Group formation(so the fighters work as a group)
Switch base carrier (eg. go to carrier 2 instead of 1)
Weapons loadout (EMP or Pcannon? Bio or MiRV?)
I would love to see this implemented. it would make things so much more interesting, and it would realy compliment the ability of carriers like the agincourt to fight in battles.

I've wanted something like that too, along with interceptors that flew around the target intercepting any nearby fighters or projectiles.
But who's gonna make it? The devs are voluntary, and that seems like a lot of work.

I agree all great ideas. However the most important, and effective implementation would be to have interceptors actually do thier job, Or to have fighters cover the carrier they're launched from. Or even, if launched at a friendly target, have them cover that target/planet.
Imbalance /shouldnt/ be too much of an issues, since all factions have fighters.. albeit, some more or less than others..? Thoughts?

Yeah. i think i'll eliminate some "nice to have" gadgets and just leave it down to the real stuff needed. still, it would be great to have this implemented.
EDIT: ok, i slimmed it down a bit and im posting on beta.
