Guys and gals, I for one like the fact that some of the new players coming into darkspace are taking the time to come up with fresh ideas, some of which havent been seen before, that i can remember so for one from me you new people keep them ideas flowing and keep on putting them down in the forums, the devs/admins are always watching they move silently alot of the time cause they can get very busy but they do read the forums.
Message to all you vets out there, Help and nurture these new players, guide them into our world, help them not wander lost into the darkness but focus them on the goal/task at hand learn them the ropes that is our trade.
AND NO I WASNT READING FROM A BOOK, BEFORE ANYONE ASKS.
My Warmest regards to all of Darkspace from Richard Lyle(Faustus), All the other Admins/Devs/Mods and the entire Player Base both old and new alike.

i agree. i allready helped 2 newbies learn the ropes this morning. so people, stop lobby camping and go help newbies!

Would be nice to see more of the "vets" helping newbies rather than patronizing them.. Would be a big help with retention..

Ive experienced that with newbies aswell, alltho the main problem is the fact that the 'Trial' button, that tought us all how to fly ships and stuff, got removed, apparently coz of a bug(obviously).Apparently people come in the game, throw themselves in the MV, have no ideea whatsoever how to pilot the ship, and simply leave the game.This has to get somehow worked over.

I was under the impression that the tutorial was removed due to being soo very outdated and nearly obsolete
