Hi there, Currently Getting the necessary downloads to join a server.
After reading through a fair few topics about this game i must admit im skeptical as to what to expect. I see its incredibly buggy and maybe not balanced correctly etc etc but im gonna give it a go and see what happens. Although i shall be unable to sub, this 2 week promotion should allow me to play enough of the game. I also understand i can play for free but without the ranking up etc?
Ok so I went to start the game. I decided to check the FAQ on how to get started. It tells me to choose 'tutorial' under the launch tab...Ok problem is I have looked everywhere and still havnt found a nice obvious (or not so obvious?) tutorial button anywhere...oh well on with the game haha
I have picked the Lacerta server (mainly because that name was mentioned in a few topics) Waiting the server file download files.
My apologies for rambling on a bit - The main reason I am writing is because I would like to hook up with someone, to learn the game, teach me things, and to get a good start...Who knows if I enjoy it enough you can add 1 subscriber

Hi, the tutorial is unfinished, so the staff removed it from the launcher, but it is helpful, and it is still in the code...
Create a text file containing this line of text:

start Client.exe tutorial
|
|
rename the text file to "tutorial.bat"
place this file in the darkspace game install directory
byydefault "C:Program FilesPaleStarDarkSpace.CacheDarkSpace"
when you run tutorial.bat file it will start the tutorial

correction, the tutorial is finished, and very much so. it was removed because it was old, depreciated, and once the missions are implemented, obsolete.
also updated the faq.

It is not finished, it covers very little of the gameplay...

It WAS finished, back when it did cover the gameplay. Now its basically obsolete
