Shipyards list "Metal" as a required resource for spawning ships. Amy's Moon has no Metals, but it has Heavy Metals; regardless, we were able to spawn all Cruiser-class and below ships from it, despite the game code saying we lacked metals.

If i recall from beta 1.5/1.484

They wanted to limit the available planets in the MV systems to hold a shipyard.
I think they wanted to limit the shipyard to be build on a planet but allowing certain ships not to be spawned from those planets.
Sort of the old structures requiring certain resources to build.

This might be one of those left over idea's.
I do recall it was disabled for the sake of being able to build a SY anywhere in Beta 1.5/1.484 for testing the new ship layouts and weapons.

have had some funky issues with cargo, mainly with resources but i think it applies to infantry as well. one time as engi i was able to offload 20k of res from my ship in under a minute. every time i hit u a new resource unit would show up, display as 1 then jump to 1000.

sometimes a resource will show as 1000 when its actually a smaller number as well.

sometimes will have 4k res, will go to build a platform and it just disappears

sometimes with inf, will load 10 but only get 8 or 7 or something.

Basically when yer mining this is possible.

Ok i have to agree this happens To much, and i'm actually concerned since i Know of this one but i can't recall me reporting this or even telling dev's..
- Resource indicator of the cargo will instantly change from 1 to 1000 even if there are no 1000 resources in the cargo slot.
- Rare occasion resource count is not accurate, Cargo slots shows
(Example: showed 574 but when unloading on a planet it showed that i unloaded 281 resources).

Be sure that the infantry you are trying to LOAD isn't out of Transport Range..
Yes it sounds strange but when you are in orbit of a big planet and the infantry is located on the other side of the planet.
The cargo pod will have to travel from that location to your ship.
This might be beyond the fuel capacity of that infantry pod.
Pod: Life 60 seconds @ 10gu/s = 600gu
