These are my picks for the those who are in need of new movies

1st: Status - Release

Watchmen: My rating 8/10.
The didnt explain some stuff that they should have, and i had to research it to find out (as i did not read the comics).

However from the Hero's having defined flaws, and a great flow to the story, i give this movie high marks.

2nd: Status - post production

Pelham 123: My rating *cant wait*

The book was apparently great, the 1st movie not so great. Between the killer cast (Denzel + Travolta) and the great book its based on i think this movie will be ace.

3rd: Status - post production

Star Trek: My rating - zomg /creams

I have always been a SW > ST fan. not to say i dont like the ST franchise, i just though SW was cooler and more gritty. This movie will change that imho.

The cast in this i think could not have been better placed. check the imdb for the actors

4th: Status - production

Transformers 2: My rating - *Trust in the Bayhem*

Honestly i grew up with Transformers the movie, and beast wars. When the first movie came out my opinion as "Bay is the man for the job" was solidified. the fact that hes adding even more beast wars inot TF2 is ticking some people off, however i say 'balls' to the naysayers and Cant Friggin Wait for the next installment.

imdb: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1055369/

5th: status - produciton

GI Joe: My rating - Hesitant.

This i also grew up on, and with the director im hesitant. I havnt had much to go on realy for this movie, but if the trailer is anything to go by this will be a kick ass movie.

imdb: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1046173/

6th: Status - Release

Sunshine: My Rating - 8/10

This is a science fiction thinker. i first through 'joy another worlds gunna end movie' and was pleasently surprised. The actors in the movie did one hell of a job and i honestly give this movie major thumbs up for its presentation.

7th: Status - Release

The Andromeda Strain: My rating - 9/10

This is another science fiction thinker. I did NOT see this one comming, and the only reason its not a blockbuster is because of its length. near 3 hours long. This had me glued to the screen the whole way through, so this is my highest rating yet. The cast, the story, the effects, all far above average for a TV movie. superb.

Trailer: *No official Trailer*
imdb: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0424600/

8th: Status - Release

Band of Brothers: My rating - 9/10

*im posting this cause i realized some still havnt seen it*

This is not your everyday war film. Infact its a series for HBO, and the best one they've ever done. This series covers the american 101st airborne and is driven off of character development. The first scene in the first episode features David Schwimmer (Ross from friends) yelling, and i said to myself "aww man". however after watching the first one i was hooked, and bought the series on dvd. Each episode focus' on different characters and the hardships they endure during the course of the war. This series is not overly gruesome so for the squeamish, give it a try!
