Please remove that keypress sound from ingame. We know we are pressing keys we don't need a sound to play each bloody time. Rather then removed it you changed it to something even more annoying. Just get rid of it period.

They changed it to something less annoying really, but i agree with you, remove it, or even better, give an option to turn it off.

^ this one.
infact, please give us the ability to costomize level volumes.
EG: boost engine noises, but turn down cannon fire, turn off UI 'clicks' etc etc. that would be ace =)

I don't know why they feel the need to have a keypress sound. It's always bugged me and really I think it's why I don't play anymore because that sound just kills it for me.

Actually, it has never bothered me, I would keep it as a swappable option for people.

You could just mute it in the setup option of DS...

I personally would like some way to configure what you get to hear and what not.
E.g.
I don't want to hear a sound when pressing :
Number keys, F-keys
But would like to hear one when:
Space, gadget buttons (J, P, L, etc)
But what bothers me the most would be missiles, over and over and over. especially when your near a enemy planet.
On the other hand i wouldn't mind having a little alarm on the background when enemy ship's get to close, 300 gu for instance.

The other sounds are part of the game play. a keypress sound does nothing for the game.
You play DS with no sound at all?

I actually like the sound
but I agree that there should be more sound-control options... like the crew-talking sounds that sometimes come up; I could do without those (they were uncommon for me to hear, so they might already be gone?) [ This Message was edited by: Mastakazam *P2* on 2009-02-26 12:41 ]
