Ok.. there is a silent discussion among Kluth about our AI cruiser.
Who in the Hell think of putting a Clavate Cruisser as an Standard AI Cruiser for Kluth.
ICC = Heavy Cruiser
UGTO = Battle Cruiser
Kluth = Clavate (BOMMMMMBBERRRRR)
Clavate Ships Specs.
AI Never Cloak (Low Armor Low Hull) = Disadvantage (the so called ultimate weapon of Kluth never applied to AI's)
Weapon System:
2 sheredder missile
2 beam
4 bio bombs.
saying all that i have seen clavate doing dog fight sending bio bombs.
Good on paper.... equal in NUMBERS with regards to other Faction Cruiser... Wake up ... its a bomber and its not bombing planet but doing DOg fight.
Request ships. put at least a parasite. Advantage on paper is disregarded by the fact AI's never cloak.
oh oh .. parasite cruiser more Number on the worksheet (Imba)...... geeezzzz

Yes, please fix the AI cruiser. First, it is far too easy to farm, and second, its just embarrassing to see a fellow kluth, AI or not, attempting to dogfight in a Clavate. Its just plain embarrassing I say.
And that is a great question. Why do the AI never cloak? Do the ICC not have shields? Do the UGTO have half their armor? NO. They operate as a normal ship would. So why does the Kluth AI not use their factional advantage?

Yes they do cloak. have seen it myself.
Its also right that Dreads do it more often but cruisers do it too.
But About AI ships in common:
ICC got the bomber frigate LOL
Uggies got the EAD as AI Dread, not bad is it
i think its ok as it is.
Cheers

well if luth is based on surviving on cloak...wont u agree they should be cloaked most of the time? Now their just...there..
Anyways what he wants is that they put in a scale or some other ship then clevate as combat ship for cruiser. [ This Message was edited by: Tommas [ USF HunnyBunny ] on 2009-02-22 17:02 ]

dont mean to me a smartass, but actually you Do know what AI's do. they fly straight at u, get within 50 gu then turn. fly away till they are satisfied, turn around and fly at u again. wash rinse repeat untill thier hull is low enough then they go cry to the closest planet to lick thier wounds.
as for the tracking, i mean honestly, its uncanny how they track. basically what im saying is, they hack the track! make em suck harder on that, cause its so much more satifying to track someone yourself.... well, at least the /y chat is more satisfying.
To the OP, LOL i didnt even notice the bomber cruiser >.<. i sure hope that was an "oh what the hell do all these cruiser names mean..... hmm This one sounds good" error.
=D

Food for thought...
Can we get rid of the ai engineers or at least limit them, I've not bothered to build since 1.483, this also stops new players learning the building mechanics of the game on how to build a sutiable planet.
Also in particular the k'luth supplies are not very intelligent and come running to a damage Dread when they are cloaked and trying to sneak out of the area, very frustrating, this also gives enemy players with some common sense to follow and predict the cloaked ships projected course. The ai sups will break away eventually when fired upon, but those vital seconds can be important for the survival of a K'luth player who at that moment unable to jump and a lot safer to sneak away.
Is there a way to limit the number of ai supplies as this also i feel restricts new players roles as well, getting little or no prestige due to platforms or ai supplies.

Simply click the supply and hit "cancel order"
in addition if theres a player supplying you (read rookie here) then do that to the AI supplys that are supplying you as well to free up more pres for them.
easy peasy

would you mind giving them some more space aswell? as in somewhat coordinated attacks? not so much so the players can farm them as in having something to do the ~10 hours a day all the US ppl aint playing. as a european i have to play early morning (read 3 - 5 AM) to have more then 2 ppl to talk to, and many times i'm all by my lonesome. having more AI's around would give me something to do.
so, bigger AI fleets in each system and server would be great.
and MI needs to be able to recap their system aswell.
