it has become clear that ugto and kluth defended planets are easy to defeat. a little more skill is needed to defeat an icc defended planet.
Anyone whinning about no action in DS should learn how to bomb ICC planets.

Mixed defense planets are definately the worst. Mostly ICC with a few scattered Kluth bases can hurt.

Honestly if they want to make bombing a bit tougher allow us to pick what kind of defence we want to put, small to large lasers.

Kluth are anti ship
ICC are anti bomb
UGTO is more middlish, but still seems more anti ship then anti bomb.

If we had the ability to use icc type lasers and luth type lasers, you'd see bombing get a bit tougher I'd think. I hear in beta (haven't tried yet) It's almost impossible to destroy a ICC planet due to the new changes. Not sure though, I need to try it out

If all icc would be mirver that wouldnt be a problem to bomb them again. But some bomb with neuts and build icc defenses on a kluth planet. So when u are in a kluth ship and bombing u cant get close enough to finish the planet. The only way to do it sacrifice yourself. If planet has no shield u can mirv and stay alive with 10% hull (with brood) at the end of run but everything has a shield.

Yeah also checked on beta too. You may think it is cool because nobody would be able to nuke a planet that easy. But you are missing a point here. I will build a planet with 13 depots and sit a battle station front of them . After destroyer class ship and all shield armor be fixed the station is orbited to planet will be inmortal.

my 2 cents
