Well, having been back about a week and half, i can say with utter certainty that it was a mistake. i have a whopping 600 net pres to show for the time i have been back. combat is, as always, suicidal and the best way to burn pres. Bombing in the MV is still almost completely impossible. Supplying may give awesome pres, but modding up a supply ship always makes everyone else vanish and kills all the action.

most, if not all, of the 600 i have to show, comes from building up a bunch of planets in admiral, then switching to a different team and nuking them flat again.

yeah, this game is sooooooo much fun

Instead of exploiting and then dissing the game, why not play it properly?

ive said it before and ill say it again.. the only way forward for this game is backwards.
it doesnt take a genius to realise that 2002 : hundreds of players on multiple scenario servers.

*content patch*

couple of players... rarely any playing, mostly just talking in the lobby.

seriously, 1 of the developers need to open their eyes.

lots of players = good
few players = bad

but.. this will be flamed to death by noobs so im wasting the plentiful spare time i have atm.

you have it backwards. i am dissing the game because playing it properly is the best way to make anti-progress. having discovered this, i managed some minor exploitation, and it turned out to be the only way to make forward progress.

GAME :In the German language a game is any activity which is executed only for pleasure and without conscious purpose. In this definition every activity that brings pleasure is a game. For example, people dance, play musical instruments, act in plays, and play with dolls and model trains.

In most games, the rules are more significant than the components. But there are games where these roles are reversed: where the components are significant and the rules not very important at all.

The components are the hardware, the rules are the software. Both define the game. Both can exist independently from each other, but separately are not a game.

Components and rules can be combined:

a set of components may be used with different rules.
a set of rules can be used with different components.

Also i would like to play "the famous old version of DS" but i gave up on asking for it. You know , there are rules....

Funny since you can easily get more than that in one day, and people frequently do even at the lower ranks, Just need to know the ropes and ask questions.

It's true combat is a poor pres gain but then in this patch, everything gains pres for you, combat is more of the fun side of things, where you shouldn't care if you loose pres 'cus you can quickly regain it.

This is what clans and fleets are good for, and stay out there for more than a few minutes, find a bomber and follow them etc etc

Yeah if you put any effort into how the game, works or barely works rather you'd know that, that is against the RoC.

Yes, It's incredibly fun, but sadly like most other games, darkspace sorta requires some background research and reading, before getting into game to get an Idea of what to do else your own your own once your outside those safe zones.

"Bombing in the MV is still almost completely impossible"

This statement in itself shows that you haven't actually been playing all that much. People have made GA in like a week because of bombing and how easy it is this version.

Try asking for some help?

ITT: BAAAAAAAAWWWWWWW

Seriously dude, go QQ somewhere else. It's boring and you haven't brought up anything new that the developers might address in the next patch.

Cripes...start on newbie and learn the benefits and disadvantages of each ship and action. Everyone CAN build up fairly well..if they use their brain.
