The Name of the Krill |

So, we had this little talk in /send f, and somehow wound up talking about the name of the ship called "Krill". It seems like a kind of... strange choice. So, instead of spamming /send f with further suggestions and banter, here's a thread to post ideas about a name for it, or other K'luth vessels...
My suggestions:

It's the final stage of a K'luth player's career, and is sort of the final, ultimate form of bioship, stations aside. It also sounds neat. Ih-mah-go...
Malacostracus

Big and evil sounding, you have Mal- in there, that's ten points for darkness, I'm sure. It's also the class of Crustacea to which Krill belong.

Krill are a type of shrimp-like marine invertebrate animal. They are considered keystone species near the bottom of the food chain because they feed on phytoplankton and to a lesser extent zooplankton, converting these into a form suitable for many larger animals for whom krill makes up the largest part of their diet.

I'm just asking...why choose such an unintimidating name for such an apparently powerful ship? Bottom of the food chain, eaten by just about everyone. If it's possible...there's a few suggestions as to the name being changed...

(Chances are you won't know what they mean at first glance, but who knows what a Clavate is?)

Any interesting suggestions? Chances are none of this matters and it'll stay 'Krill' anyways... but it'll still be interesting to hear suggestions.

Reaver...is used in Starcraft as the name of a unit, that might bring up issues, if not: oh well.
I'm for Ihmago... it just fits. Krill is truly the 'final stage' or ship that a k'luth player can aspire to pilot....

Reavers are insane, cannibalistic humans from the series Firefly, and the movie Serenity.
And yup...Protoss unit in Starcraft.

im more for simplistic names. The more complex it is the more it goes away from the kluth names. In my opinion krill works fine

I actually like the name Krill. Its short and sweet. Not some long redundant name trying to ound cooler than it really is.
