Hey DeltaFlyer, no need to call yourself a noob. You're a 1st Rear Admiral. Sometimes people might get a little annoyed with events that occure in the game but they soon get over it. Since it is just a game, there's really no need to apologize, if you know what I mean.

Do not appolize for ur actions. U learn best about people by what games they play, and how they play it (<=plagerism) How you play is who u are, why appolize for being ur self...
btw, there is also no relationship (direct or inverse) between rank and Noobmanship. ^_^

You'll always annoy someone, mate. That's the truth of this world. There's no way you can please everyone.
Just do as you please. Everyone just does whatever without caring much for the effect their actions have on others, so there's no real reason to strive to be an honest and fairplayed person.
If you do want to be so regardless, you're going to have to prepare for the fact that you cannot always please everyone and that some of your actions will deter others from playing (heck, logging off deters others from playing!) or otherwise come over as lame.
Just relax. If you agree it was lame, 'skoo, just do better next time. While I applaud you for your courage to apologize, I don't believe it's really necessary.

ah, some philosophy. Nice.
Shall we all be selfish as our human nature dictates? We are all selfish should you agree or not. So, I hear from some that the game should be played with no regard to reputation or honor. What is this? No regard for sportsman-like conduct? or am I misunderstanding things? I will agree we are all judged by our actions, yet even more, we are the product of our previous experiences, nothing more. Kant (a 18th century philospher has a conclusion thesis on this topic) says that if you want A, you do B. He has a point there which is relative.
A wise man once said, "If you do what you have always done, you will get what you always got." Relevance being, if you are a turd, you will always be a turd if you do the same crap (no pun intened).
Yes, it is simply a game, yet it reflects upon you as a player. Should you choose to conduct yourself in a less than respectable manner, so be it. For all your actions or mine, there will be repercussions to follow respectively.
