well i have to add this. there was a time luna revolted about everyday. so that is a pain in the ass. if it happens just once there aint a problem.

Sag Hotha revolt's nearly every week. All Safe-Zones should be fixed so that any planet "" besides safe zones "" can revolt so that safe planets dont have to wait for a Admin to be fixed and players can join again, at any time whether as a new player or old player.
Most safe zones are the only ShipYards available to not only new players but old ones with ships they wouldn't spawn anywhere else but in the safe zone, it becomes hard for players to spawn ships when they have no control over AI effects on Safe-Zone planets.
When the only source of a Ship-Yard is available in a safe-zone because of a mass bombing/capping and territory gain of a enemy faction, and the safe-zone's revolt or need/waiting is to be fixed ....can and has meant people log'n and unable to spawn ships to counter the attack.

for one, someone messed with minute and deleted a bunch of stuff, probably causing the revolt.
as for making the safe zone even 'safer' so it wont revolt, that is designed to be a sign that we arent taking care of the planets needs. Whether the feature needs tweaking I dont know but I sure dont want this game to be whittled down till combat is the ONLY thing left...If anything, the trade feature should be brought into use again so that we have to maintain and protect supply lines to keep planets.

this is because nobody build shipyards anywhere else. in the rare event that someone does, theres only 10 tech on the planet and you can only spawn undocked ships.
solution- build more shipyards, build more shipyards with 90 tech, or dont dock your ships before logging off

Any planet can revolt ... any planet can be captured in this version, but make the safe zones an exception...because they are safe zones....not even revolts should make a player not able to join. They have paid to play in the MV, revolts by AI or other effects should not stop players being able to spawn ships when a faction has captured part of their factions home system.
As usual the Mods/Admis you have toataly missed the point. If the safe-Zone planets have revolted and a faction has done a masive teritory gain ...
How will a new player join the mv if there are no ShipYards available/waiting for a Admin to fix the safe zone ?....answer that when theres no shipyards around, Mersenne.

theirs no code in this version to enable a flag of sorts that allows a planet to never revolt.
admins can do nothing about this. They try to do what they can do with the limited resources they have.

Yes they can...they can make the safe-zones ...Safe-Zones..just like they made the home spawn point safe zones....its not hard theres only 3 factions to do..not like every planet has to be done only the safe-zones needs the most attention, make them safe-zones no revolts. no nothing, then people can join no matter what happens...even if a faction takes the sytem you can still spawn a ship at a shipyard.

easily answered...if a faction is so poorly organized that all their systems can be taken and even their home planet can be taken, they still have one spawn point that cannot be taken. the home system shipyard gate cant be taken so it will essentially be like admiral server where you have to start with the smaller ships and capture something. it is very unlikely that the attacking faction will have built on all or even any of the planets by the time someone capable comes on, thus the faction will be perserved.

Atomic: As Mersenne said, we can't make planets not revolt with a wave of our modwands. The safe zones are easily added to the home clusters because that's pre-existing code; we've always had safe zones. But the code for safe zones doesn't preclude revolts within it, and we can't add that functionality without an update - which is currently not possible either for reasons I don't want to type out.
The other option is just having a flag or something which means certain planets cannot revolt, rather than having that functionality tied to the safe zone itself, but this also is impossible, as such a flag does not currently exist in game code and again cannot be added without an update.
So, as I believe Fattierob said, we are doing the best we can with what we have. Unfortunately, there's not much else to offer.
If the fact that they're safe zoned is preventing their recapture and modification, the only option we have (aside from the current waiting-for-staff-intervention) is to remove the safe zones entirely.

Of Course....
But how will you mod that ship you want or mod it differently to the situation at hand .....you cant ..because the Safe-Zone has revolted and you cannot get any mods or reps or inf....and at the moment there is no Admins on......
Looks like stock.......... or log.

I have never seen both home planets go rogue, though in theory it could happen. There is usually always a moderator or administrator that you can just /report (insert planet name here) has gone rogue. Once they get the reports it takes 5 minutes to sort out. It's not the end of the world don’t panic.

I'm just corious how you know if an admin is on or not? Most the time you can't see them, but they can see you.
