How do you become a moderator? Do you get special things? Because I cant do a thing on this game!!!!!!!!

you have to be here a very long time, know the game inside and out, and be well respected. Then, if they trust you enough to give you that kind of power, they will consider you when they feel the need for another one.

there really isnt any "way" of becomming a mod. we have a set of criteria that we look for (age, maturity, clean record, history of helping out with the community, etc.)
if the staff feels the need for new/more moderators, we'll usually ask a person directly if they're interested (as we did with smartin), or, if theres a number of suitable canidates, we might have an open sign-up, but that's rare.

I've been here four years, and I'm pretty well versed with Darkspace..
Well respected may be a problem, and I certainly do not have a clean record. I should be an Admin!

i have all of those things, i help alot and i get killed for it i have a lot of trust and the only time i have broken one was when somthing happend outside of my controll, otherwise ppl trust me.

Well i have been here for a long time and yet I have been wanted to be a mod myself but it seems what i say don't mean anything anyways....I just do what i do....sit back and watch other ppl get the position.

Don't take this the wrong way... but who are you? You've been here a month... trust you? I wouldn't trust you to supply me with a months DS under your belt.
And thats besides the point, its the Mods & Admins who have to know you, trust you, and feel that you're mature & not just putting on a show to get modhood.
There is also the issue of need. How many mods does DS really need? At the moment, I think we're at or near quota for the active playerbase IMO.
