Yeah so I'm a few months late with this news, but I felt now would be an appropriate time to celebrate.
Yep, you guessed it, I Rogue Spear have made Grand Admiral!
I appreciate all of your support in helping me make it this far, I couldnt have done it without you guys!

Anyways what I'm here to say is that I disagree with your comment. If you compare your promotion picture to Rogue's theres definitely no contest. Rogue Spear earned his promotion through combat, not only just combat, but against Nexus-14. I mean, Ive never even seen Nexus-14 let alone met a man that could kill him.....but Rogue Spear did.
When I look at your screenie all I see is a kluth cruiser cloaked in the middle of no where.....what are those MiRVs?
Anywho, Rogue once again youve captivated us with your skill and piloting prowess, I only hope that someday someone has the courage to carry on your legacy because I shudder to think of a Darkspace without you. Take care brother!

pfft nexus now are not what they use to be btw..... it took a entire fleet of ugto BD's and such to kill one .... they had 2x station shields plus the speed of a cruiser/dessy i miss those back when AI was almost impossible to beat... 6 months or so ago

Combat you say? BOLLOX! i was in the MV when he got it...he was MIRVING KLUTH PLANETS when he was aiming for GA, he did NOT combat to GA you sir are full of crap! dont even freaking lie about it man...we all know rogue mirved his way to GA...so stop lying for him! geeze! and by the way leo got his FROM COMBAT! i cant even begin to think how disgusted i am with both of you!

Where to start? A question I been trying to answer for a while now...
I guess it all started a little over 2 years ago. A co-worker said hey come check this game out. So sure as I am typing this today we bravely loaded up DS on work time and he began to login and unleash his terror on the MV. He looked over at me and said. I am subbing you for your first month, and you will soon be flying beside me. I thought free month plays, why not? So I took to the MV. Doing everything any other new player would do, not use jumpgates, pass up upgrading, and /y the entire time b/c someone told me it's how I could talk to everyon on my faction.
So a year goes by and here I was. Still playing the game everyday. Finding myself ingulfed by it. I mean I couldn't stop. I would play every waking moment possible, and if that wasn't enough I wouldn't sleep. It was obvious I had a DS addiction. My friends that introduced me to the game said their was only one cure for this. A DSathon. Yes a term not used lightly, a solution only brought out in drastic measures. We planed it out for a saturday to sundsay. 24 hours of DarkSpace. No stopping, no breaks, no running to the store for another red bull. I was not sure if I was up for the challenge....
Regaurdless my fears I made it through my frist DSathon, but to many's worries I did not cure my addiction. Infact it taught the true power of Red Bull and peing in cups during bombing runs. I thought to myself how could one game engulf my mind so much? How could I loose such control of myself? Regaurdless my many worries I pressed forward.
After a long journey and many upsets I reached the rank of GA and though will I still be addicted? I was, but I wanted to know...whats next? what now? How else can I become an even bigger addict to DarkSpace.
This past few weeks that answer came to me. In a galorious opportunity to join the wonderful Moderation team, and become Green. I have never been so honored in my gaming career as I am now. It's an offer I could not deny. With all your kind words I though I should give my thank you speach.
With all this said I would like to give my thank you speach for becomming a Moderator:
Honestly I have to thank the community first.
It's true your support has helped make me the player I am now.
Juxtapose, because you are Juxtapose,
And the staff for being kind enough to bring me aboard.
Can't forget all the players that were eager, willing, and
Kind enough to show me how to not act.
Including Crim or even Coeus but,
Not forgeting $ythe or Enterprise
Going forward I would like to thank my family.
Rightfully, I must thank Faustus for creating such a wonderful game
Obviously we can't forget my fleet TB for they have always supported me.
Undergoing this transformation to green will not be an easy taks.
Going from player to Moderator will be my greatest challenge in DS ever.
Even though it will take time, I thank you all for you paients.
Specially you Rogue Spear, your support so far has been outstanding.
Gives me great honor to stand before you all as a moderator now.
Looking forward to doing all that i can do to help DarkSpace.
On another note I Key Lime Pie > Cheese....

Smartin, nice words there. I love this game, lately, the past month since I have been back, it has been more fun than the time before I left. I think reducing the MV to 15 systems really helped, since we are so few players.
Gratz on promotions again guys.
