I was thinking that we could do a large (i mean LARGE) SpaceUltraMaxiSuperbNova Battle in space (duh)
And here is a FAQ about the battle..
When? Depends on the admins etc
Where: In space .. .duh but where nothing exist .. just a planet with decent def to protect those who are healing and changing ship
Why? Because of the fun and the prestige !
How many factions against eachother etc etc etc ?
UGTO vs ICC vs Kluth .. BUT to be evil ..Supply ships can't be attacked!
Basics of Supply ships ...
1. They can't be attacked
2. They gotta help their faction
3. Once ur in a supply ship .. u can't leave ! muhhahahahah nah but after a battle been done .. then u can change
How many battles and how much time will it take?
Well ... 4 Battles, 1 hour each .. once a battle is done .. u can't attack anymore and the ''resting'' time is at 30 minutes so u gotta hurry up refueling etc...

by supplyers, you mean like supply ships? Why would they be a fourth faction? wouldn't they be more like the water-boys of the other three factions?

not to mention, if the supplies are all on one team, they cannot possibly supply anyone on any other team unless all four teams are allied, in which case is just a big FF orgy.

Doran, No .. nvm i'll change that ... The supply ships can't be attacked and they gotta be in the right faction to supply someone .. better now mkaay?

we dont have the player database for this and this would be a pain to fight in with cloaks and all and u cant target suppys then whats the point of haveing non of a planet with depots if suppys cant be attacked
dont mean to flak your post but its a bad idea

Hey, maybe your sirens aught to be going on about 'Ignorant Post' and 'This poster misspells things!'.
This is an idea I've been tossing around for awhile now, and it'd be interesting. Heres my take on it..
We recreate famous battles from the 'history' of Darkspace, or atleast, onces that are noted in the timeline. We wont have the increadibly large numbers, but I'm sure with enough effort, we could have enough numbers on each side to make it fair. We could have each side with one depot planet outside the combat area, or we could go for the whole shebang and have everything as it would be with the original battle noted in the timeline.
Just an idea ontop of an idea.

i dont see how people will avoid "accidently" blowing up a supply ship. IE QSTs, ICs, SIs. And also you might want to include that supplys cant hit people.

your idea sounds nice but yes need some more rules.
would be nice if there was a ballanced team.
+ if you get killed you have to atleast be a supply ship for 10 minutes before you are allowed to have a combat ship again.
[thinking about it]
e.g. you start of with 10 players each side.
the more you kill of the enemy the more supply ships there wil be supplying them, maing it harder to kill off the rest.
not to mention if you add the hit and run tactics of the k'luth to the game, the combat could take hours, and don't even produce a winner.
