I have not played for a long time, so may not familiar with all that is current.
I wonder if the "Group" function is still available or will it be re-implemented... I thought that is one of the greatest ways of "encouraging" teamwork.
The related sharing of prestige can be tweaked, if too excessive.

There is talk of it being in 484.. nothing definite though.

Yeah, no. Grouping was in DS before wow was even a noob (read Blizzard) programmers wet dream, and it was known by many other names in many other MMOs. WoW is not the basis for all ideas MMO, it is just very leet at stealing all the good ideas from OTHER mmos and claiming as their own...

And the talk of the new grouping will be fleet based, IE: All the S.Ws in the same system (say all S.Ws in Sol) would get the grouping prestige benefit. Its an encouragement to join fleets instead of staying unfleeted & faction hopping.

Ya I got that, kinda being sarcastic. But I like the fleet aspect rather than random grouping....i can just imagine it being used when FS was at full strength...
