It took four years but today I was commissined as an Ensign in the US Navy. woohooo!

FA is an honours rank, whilst GA is given only at times of war, and if memory serves me correctly, only special forces, a handful of people from a few countries have ever been given the rank of GA (the last two outside of the special force) were two german guys. Little bit of a history lesson for joo.
