I'd like to extent a sincere appreciation for the DarkSpen combat server. Damn nice job! I've had so much fun in there:
-self destructs
-duels
-AI combat
-testing Darkspens stuff
-movie stuff
-and more....
Hope it becomes a permanent part of DS... Outstanding job DarkSpen! Hope to see more!
Anyone else had any fun in DarkSpen server? I sure have. We need to give credit where it's due, eh?

It is very useful, as a pres-loss free (meaning stress free) place to just kick back and battle in manners you would normally not, try ships you dont normally use, and duel with ship of different factions mixed up. It is a lot of fun. I am even using it to host the Fleet Wars Tournament, if the players involved would show up in numbers enough to start completing the duels that is...
I used it to film both of my vids too.

It's not realy that good.
It's just another player ran server. Jack has hosted one, I have hosted one, and others have too. Only good thing about it is the no-prestige loss, because everything else has been done countless times before..
Oh yeah, start using the official Fleet Wars map for the tourney..

Ha the A.I was no easy feat to fix up ... by the way DSI servers got attacked and are for the time being offline ... i got the website back up though  .. anyways

lol thanks guys, will hopefully be sorting out some new hardware to host a new server on, running a test one now just to see how stable the DS Server currently is (FYI it's not running on proper server hardware/connectivity for the moment so don't expect it to be good!)...
But kudos to DarkSpen for providing something different!
