MAC-IN-TRASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the poem
TRASH THE MAC I can
Get money for the computer stand
Buy a comp that works man
Even if you buy it from a guy named stan
Steal a PC within your master plan
Or lift Kans
Then scream out in downtown Iran
Trash my mac you can!
Too much Jack in my thermos today me thinks.

So, I've decided to go forward after looking at all my possibilities to upgrade which came up with... no upgrades what so ever as far as processors go and video cards go and ram goes. So now I've decided to go forward and just get the next gen stuff so it will be up to date for the next 2-3 years.
-Dual Core Pentium D 3.0ghz.
-2GB DDR2 240 Pin (2 x 1 GB sticks soon upgraded to 4 x 1gb)
-BFG 7800 Geforce (512 MB DDR3 Ram and Processor clocked at 500mhz)
So see you guys in about a week or 2.

With windows I hope , Down qith Apple/Mac......... Unneeded garbage.
good choice but the dual core isn't so important for gaming "right now" as 99% of games that are out are single threaded, but I'd imagine Multithreaded games with soon become the norm. So you 'll be doin pretty good with that, and I've heard that you can overclock those Pentium D's a great deal " . Whats the RAM I.E. PC4200, PC5400?, or PC6400? Just curious . You'll have to run some benchmarks to compare to my Overclocked AMD Athlon 64 3800+. get in touch with me on msn or by e-mail both are reeves.00zero@gmail.com

Well Gonzo, I will be fitting my Koolance Liquid cooling mounts on my new setup once I get the proper mounts for the vid and processor. Once I get it up and running I will let you know how it goes... Also, I will soon be running SLi after I get the initial setup going.
PS: The ram is PC2 5300

I don't know if somebody else suggested this, but check your capactors on your motherboard. if they're blown, you can get them repaired cheaply and quickly.

I had that problem a while back, had to get a new mobo, was cheaper-ish. Plus my old one was old anyway.
