This is just an observation I have made over the time I have been a part of DS and it in no way involves anyones else's opinion.
While I have been reading the posts in the forums I have noticed that there are a lot of people that never have anything good to say about anything, now I have been known to have negative things to say in the forums but not every single time I post something.
In one of the things I posted which was a request for comp I got replies from 2 people and neither one was a mod or a part of the admin, yet at least one of them tried to make out like he has some sort of powers to say whether I will or won't get the comp. Very basically my msg to you is too either get a job as a mod or in the admin or keep your opinions to yourself when it comes to people requesting comp for things that have happened.
DS is currently suffering badly from a loss of players and although there is no proof of it I think that might also be because some people just never have anything good to say about anything and this then has a ripple effect which in the end equals players leaving.
People I know for some it is hard to say good things about other people or give a little bit of encouragement to other people but if you don't ad things continue the way they are then there will be no DS and everyone that plays it will end up loosing what will one day be a great game.
So lets have fun help people that ask for or need help and make this game the game it can and will be oe day!

Meh, there's the old adage saying, "If you have nothing good to say, don't say anything at all" (in various forms, but all with the same meaning). I try to remember it, but fail at living by it more often than not, I imagine.

Back-on-topic: Good idea, but it will never happen. Human nature is to criticize first, even more so when you're able to do it anonomasly (yeah I know, I can't spell worlds with repeated parts in them like nono...). It would be great if people could be nicer, but it would also be great if microsoft made a program that didn't use up half your RAM. But that's unfair, microsoft has a higher chance of releasing a good program than human nature does of changing...

Firstly, some players have been here for years, and in such, know the inner workings of such things like the compensation requests. In some cases, it helps the admins by us players reading and detailing what you need for them to review your case, and take less time, as admins don't only look at the requests once a week sometimes.
Also, DarkSpace is suffering from a bad patch, of which you can do nothing about. Players don't want to play a rubbish game, and this is a rubbish game currently, although there are some highlights. This is why a few of us have been made developer - so we can get 1.484 out quicker.
