this Dictor thing has been on my mind, also the amount of credits that people have, seems to me everyone in this game is rich, and tired of getting dictored
I know this will never happen, but its just an idea, and I would like feedback
what if
all mobile Dictors are removed from the game (planetary stay)
but, u have to pay for hyperfuel, refuel at a planet, or a supply ship (as u fuel from either credits are syphoned from your account to the source of the fuel, means that sup ships would have to carry hyperfuel tanks ,
as I said I know this is majorly flawed, the concept is that people will have to conserve fuel during battles, and sometimes will run out,
what u all think?

Actually, believe it or not...
our ships already use fuel.

I figured that out, ty
the Idea is to make hyperfuel more of a concern, also maybe a smaller amount for each ship,

I'd suggest fuel for the sublight engines, but that wouldn't make sense, since they run on fusion, anti-matter, and ion emissions...

Motion DENIED.
Dictors are an intended part of the game, they serve a purpose, and are (contrary to popular belief) not at all lame. Thinking that when you try to bomb a planet, or consistantly E jump from battle, or capture and then try to build a planet , that you have been wronged in some way by the enemy bringing a Dictor online, however is just ridiculous. It's irritating I know! I've been killed many times due to being dictored, but such is the way of the game.
I notice that most if not ALL who complain about dictors have absolutely NO problem attacking an enemy ship when IT is dictored.....it's only when YOU are dictored that the Interdictor ship becomes a part of the game that is "Unfair".

some real life physics could be applied to this. Ion engines use Xenon as fuel and only use very VERY tiny amounts per second, so small infact, a litre tank of Xenon fuel would last an ion engine several weeks. Fusion engines require radioactive materials such as uranium, this lasts a long time but not as long as the Xenon fuel would. anti-matter due to its very high price tag and high danger means only small quanties would ever be carried, despite the fact it is the most efficient. because of this is sugest that each drive would have diferent amounts of fuel.

Feral, I know dictors are here to stay, I didnt mean to start a rant thread
but I do wish the ships had more realistic liabilities, seems DS is the place for Delta V besides, I want something to spend credits on, I cant do it real life lol
lmao just thought of it, how about having to pay for an overhaul on ships spawned repeatedly, I can see it now
