Hi all! Just thought Id give ya all a heads up. This game looks pretty cool and im looking to play it. I just wish that there was a free version that maybe was a bit less of a package than the subscribers version.
Just out of curousity.... Is this game worth paying for? Is it that good of a game? Sorry , im just a tight wad and dont like spending money

Does the Demo account ever completely expire or can you just continue to play for free? I havent found anywhere on the site that says it does.

You can play for as long as you want, but the game wont give you any reward, except when you subscribe,where all the work you did unsubbed would be added to your profile. I'd suggest subscribing, fairly cheap for an MMO, but test the game first

Also, Darkspace is, and will always be my favorite game, as it will be to many of it's players..Maybe you'll see the game as we did our first days, and be swept away by it's magic!

You can still gain stats when unsubscribed, but they won't get calculated. So you'll be stuck in scouts. When you sub (if you decide too after a while), all the work you've done unsubscribed will get calculated to your rank. When your sub runs out, your prestige gets set to 0, and it waits till you re-sub to re-calculate your prestige.
This is why I made the prestige calculator (so people can see their prestige, even when they're not subed!)
