There is no MoD signup...
You have to be around in DarkSpace for a while before you're really going to be accepted into staff. They need to see how you act as a player and so on. 10 days, isn't enough.
Plus, there is no signup, there are mod votes where you put your name into the hat and they pull it out and talk about you, and whether you should be a mod or not. But that's voted by the other mods. And being sweet with all of them and being friendly, doesn't give you extra points (I know, 90% of my f list is mods).

A mod signup thread is only created when we feel the need to address a severe lack of player support or Moderation manpower within the DarkSpace facilites.
We also handpick members of the community on occasion.
We generally look for members who have a lot of experience and knowledge of the game, its rules and those who are generally mature and well respected by the community at large.

We're unlikely to be creating any new Mod Signup posts for awhile.
Can't really be more specific - a minimum of several months if we feel we need additional staff at that time.
The general requirements have already been stated above. Also as a rule, we've always tended to prefer to rely on descriptions of personal experience in game to evaluate candidates - something that generally requires you to be around here for several months actively participating in the game community.
We always appreciate your interest - best advice I can give is play the game.
