The past 2 nights I have logged on around 1:00 am. I come out through a shipyard and basicaly lock from the moement I get out. Once I get through..and I use this loosely...Lag I am told I have been destroyed by the planed I came out at but I have yet to push and keys. I am tired of loosing my moded ships to this. Any Ideas of why this is happening?

the lagg in metaverse is so bad that i was 1000gu from planet getting in some combat then lagg boom right into planet lost 100 pres plus my best moded ship. i am very unhappy wif the state of metaverse right now have had ships jump for no reasons come out of a gate at like ugto and with out pressing a buttion start a long jum to bernards has happend like 6 times over the 3 days admins need to adress these problems they are really p-d me off.

heck some times i can't even get through the ship choosing screen
i choose a ship press select then it locks up...
i mean i like his game ut it's annoying to hell when i happens...

My computer crashes during the loading screen, right after it goes fullscreen.... I've been able to play in the past, it just recently started doing this. And only in the MV, too. I don't know why...

Ummm what does VM cache have to do with DS its lag and the like please explain and give suggestions as to what this needs to be set and or adjusted to.

if ur client LOCKS up its defenetly not lag. its something else, either corrupt files or your own PC thats messing up.
LAG still makes u able to move around.

Guys I told you already. Its a curropt .wob file. Delete your data folder, and restart GCQL. It will take a while to update (56k users...best to just reinstall DS).

That doesn't make sense, though. I can play on the newbie server fine and lag-free.

Hm...
Set your DarkSpace game window to windowed. It could be a problem to do with your drivers, since loading of the MV used to crash my machine untill I set it to windowed. Also if theres any errors you can easily see them with windowed. If it still doesnt work, I recommend uninstalling DarkSpace, and reinstalling it. Make sure you delete the old DarkSpace folder first though before reinstalling.

Okay, I set it to windowed.
It actually doesn't crash my computer! Huzzah!
However, it still freezes Darkspace and I still can't play the MV.
Any more suggestions?

it happens often for me that i spawn a ship and then after 3 seconds im 50k gu away from where i spawned. Still dont get how it comes i didnt crash into a planet.
