Everyone complained and comlpained about the power of bombs till it was greatly reduced....
Now i understand this against planets as the bombs used to wipe the whole planet clean, but as players have got more courageus, they stop the bombs by running there ship into the bombs...now given the fact that thses are planertary bombs... they do hardly any damge at all to the ships. Example:
TOday i was on a bombing run against Niax... deployed all 24 bombs (lvl 3s) then justpaul jumped in enxt to the planet and simply ramed my bombs.. cousing only 8% sheild damage... now this seems very ridiculous with the power the mirvs are suposed to have. this is a great problem as it is quite hard to bomb planets now as it is wiht the uber defences, now we got ppl crashing into bombs wiht hardly any damge on them!

lol that is something I never really payed attention I remember bombs would do critcal on any ship that ran into them.

. they dont go cricitcal any more... only 8% armor damage....

Odd...must be something to do with how powerful his shields were, was he in a dread? I rammed about 20 mirvs in a desssie (noob server) and they wiped out all my armor and did 56% hull dmg...

Depends how many bombs there are 
Ramming them is the only counter to cloudbombing.
Anyway planet bombs arn't supposed to do much damage to ships, if they could you could use them to bomb stations etc.

OMG! for the last time! I was could bombing, had 23 bombs underneth me. No idea what level his armor was but he HAD NO sheilds as he was an uggie.....

We are replacing the UGTO Neutron bomb (aka. Human Bio Bomb) with the improved Rhubarb Bomb.
More lethal than any whiff known to man.

In space, a nuclear warhead produces heat and various types of radiation.
nothing hard to deal with since your practically driving through that all the time (solar winds for example...)
