On a way to improve the server service on DS
Well I propose "another time" to open "e-shop" on DS, selling merchandising products (coffee cups, T-Shirts, gift coupons....) to refinance the new server... put ideas

Seriously, if you're interested in designing some merchandise for darkspace, you might want to check out CafePress. They let you design and sell products for free, as well as set your own price (They give you a base price that they keep, but you can change the fees to make your own profit)

I'd have to buy a model of a bomber cruiser an an EAD... Maybe a couple of poster prints of a QST blowing up on an ICC support station You know, the works...

I think an Darkspace Spopping Channel would be great BUT you must concider this...
Since this game is based in the US of A and thereby requires all players to abide by said laws...
You cannot design and sell, for personal gain, any item that displays the Darkspace Logo, Palestar Logo and, if I am not mistaken, any Fleet Logo since said logo is used within said game which is owned and operated by Palestar.
You cannot sell any item with the above mentioned Logo's or Designs without the express written concent of the ownership of Palestar... which means you got to get the Big F to give up his licencing rights......
I just don't see that coming....
I would like to see minatures be made... you could have a minatures battle like BattleTech, Harpoon and even Warhammer....
I would love to have a DarkSpace T-Shirt with the ICC logo... and even a Coffee Mug... I mean not only does it serve you but advertises the game as well..

What I think was meant was that Palestar would sell the merchandise (or would give the OK for another company to sell it). The profits from the sales would go to Palestar for advert campaigns, and to give Faust a payraise (We all know he needs one of those!)
