wasn't sure where to post this so here goes..
Admiral server is so much less fun now than it was when everyone had a big ship. The shipyard system and the ridiculous resource requirements for ships make each faction have at most 1 or 2 ships larger than a firgate and i haven't seen a dread yet. It also causes a lot of ship screen campers. This makes the game much less fun. I personally liked the old system better with no sys but that probably will never be the case again. I am asking for a Major downscale of the res requirements or Dramatically increased mining speed.

hmm, well, a large increase in mining speed would help with that, and offset the pathetic earning/time of mining in the MV to a degree, altho, if the mining speed is increased a meaningful ammount, most resources might hit their unit limit(like 50 for darkmatter) in a very short ammount of time, so if that was done, it'd probly be best to also increase those a bit, maybe by the same factor the speed is increased, i dunno.
for the scenarios servers, the resource costs are definitely a hinderance, and there's only two solutions unless its intended, decrease costs, or increase mining speed(whether ship or installation, altho ship is dual benefit)

Well, before the admins get here to say it, I'll save them a bit of time. The game is about the Metaverse.

Which lags so hard it isnt even funny?
Admiral is atleast playable, with only the occasional lag spike.

until metaverse gets a bit of a lag fix they should fix scenario servers
also the increased mining speed would help in mv too since modding is too expensive

Many of the "Lag Spikes" you have seen in Admiral the last two days have been when I have connected to it to adjust the maps. It freezes the server for about 30 seconds.
I have done so on certain maps missing things like oxygen.

Honestly I don't feel lag in the MV, at least not like I used to before the new version release.
There are some lag spikes, sometimes my ship is "displaced" a few hundred gu's but the game is definitely playable most of the time, even with 30-40 ships fighting in the same system.
The only reason for me to go into Admiral is to get credits... I just park my ship at a planet with urandinium or hypermatter and if everything goes right by the end of the scenario I have +1 million to spend on the MV...
And I just realized that this post makes no sense but I already finished it... lol

i wasnt complaining about lag in admiral but i just think admiral was a lot more fun when ships were resource free, the battles were better and bigger, and everyone just had more fun

Its impossible for admiral to go back to the way it used to be (without a lot of work, which Faustus probably has better time spending on).

Admiral server is not changing...
I suggested once a flag to look for scenario and if so remove the shipyard req. but thats been shot down. basicly the scenarios are for quick fights, you want bigger ships and battles then its off to the MV.
In fact, I dont know who or why FA was turned back on. the last couple of times it was on it ended up empty inside of 2 days... The days of FA server are over... Thats not changing...
