Think say, 10, 20, 30 years into the future. How many of us will still be playing ds?(the ones who play atm not future peeps) Do you see yourself old and grey still logging into ds to play? Should there be a graveyard of old ds players in the future in the form of asteroids(named) floating around a planet?
*NOTE* At 6am after being up all night I come up with some crazy ideas.

In 10 years, I predict that the world of gaming will be completely stagnant. New and different products are only ever released by small companies, and it gets harder by the day for them to make games.
As such, DS will still be the only MMORTS game on the market, and I will be playing it until Faustus goes mad.
I also predict
GTN will have disbanded a few more times
Backslash will still be playing
SW will go belly up, as their members will not have enough money to continue playing in the face of the massive cheese price inflation. (you know its coming....)
Someone will pass Coombie in prestige.
1.450 will be slated for release in two weeks.
Shigernafy will reach admiral in prestige.
Those links Lord Shard keeps posting still wont be funny
Lord Shard will be revealed as someone who was previously perma banned from darkspace. (scandalous!)
Demorian's quote book will consume a 40 gig HD. And the only funny quote will still be the one with all those GTN dreads stroking each others hulls.
Half the ship models will still look phallic in nature.
ICC heavy supply will still be slow.
Faustus will be sued by the church for the UGTO extractor model.
Even with processors measured in terrahertz, ds will still lag.
That wierd bug, when the last letter in chat causes you to bomb friendly planets/jump into the sun etc... Yeah, that bug will still be denied by faustus.
Players will still post in the suggestings forum, because they dont realize the futility of arguing with Taelron.
Lobby ghost will ban you from the lobby if you say ass.
