Alright. Since my subscription is running out in a few days. Ive decided to devote my time to taking footage for a darkspace news feature. This doesnt have to be supported by the DarkSpace staff, this is mearley for the enjoyment of the playerbase. I do ask for people on EACH faction who can take video of battles/invasions in the MV, and report it every day. I would also like for the other players to respect the newsteam. As long as they have a tag, such as {News}, do not attack them please. I know you dont have to listen to me on that, but I still ask. Reply to this with any suggestions, or if you want to be apart of this.

Not bad of an idea... does need a little work but, I'd like to take part once I get DS up and running again. Beta, keeps crashing unexpectedly for some reason and I don't know about the release part. I'll have to check up on that...
But, it's not a bad idea.. I'm for it anyway. I hope I don't have to be subscribed though and maybe a few scouts and frigates in my shots would do for now.. But, BETA could come in handy once I get it working again... Well, that's my two cents.

Thats what I want this to mainly be. People who are in scouts and such, and can easily zoom in and out of battles.

Love the idea Crimson. Heh, helped ya with some bombing footage last night too  . Hope that turned out well. Yeah I'd be willing to help out, if I get the memory for it.

Scouts have the hardest time zooming out actualy, the bigger the ship model, the further you can zoom out, so try get an engineer.

Sounds likea good idea. We can probably find a way to combine the footage into the (un-)Weekly News. Any help with this (IE writing reports and coming up with articles and footage) is appreciated.

unregistered version is limited to 30 seconds before it automaticaly stops recording...so you just gotta press the "record video" button every 30 seconds, and tape it all together using something like windows media player

Heh, thanks.. I'll check it out. BTW: I don't use much of Windows components much anymore.... having bad experiences with the OS itself, ticking me off.....
