Hey guys I just downloaded the darkspace beta client. I really like the game and was wondering if I could download the release? ( I think thats what they called it). And do I get some kind of serial that unlocks all the ships or something?. I hope you can buy the whole game off the internet I was just wondering

You can download the release client for free. It costs nothing. Your user login for beta will work fine here as well.
As for as erial code. It is not required to unlock the ships. you either would need to subscribe. or redeem the 14 days voucher which gets emailed to you once your email address is validated on the system.
This isnt required to play, but unlocks any prestige you have earned in release so that you can actually use it. The general recommendation is to wait about a week so that you are familiar with the game and have some stats that you can take advantage of to gain most benefit.
Currently you can still gain badges and statistics without paying. you are jsut limited to using only the unsubscribed ships. (IE Scouts, Frigates, Transports and Engineers) Due to the nature of Darkspace these are all forever in demand and never enough to go around.
Below is the download link. Just install it like the beta client. Once you have both clients installed you can switch between them using the Lobby button in the GCQL Client browser.

Yes that helps. So how many ppl are subscribed and don't play beta? Will I expect a lot more ppl in the metaverse?

You will be able to use the shipbuilder when I get around to adding all the ships in and finishing programming it...
