Now there are are a lot of words/sentences that are written in short during gameplay/chatting.
These have come up during the many years of darkspace and i for one do not know all of them and get a bit connfused somethimes.
I think it would be handy to have a "dictionary" for these. Mayby this will help the response time of noobs (to witch i count myself) =)
So everybody, when you got one, please add it to this topic.
The ones i remember now:
AFK=away from keyboard
SUP?=what's up
So please, help me understand what you're babbling about=)

AC = ICC = Assault Cruiser / Kluth = Advanced Carrier
HC = Heavy Cruiser
JC = Jump Cruiser
TC = Torpedo Cruiser
BC = Battle Cruiser
MC = Missile Cruiser
EAD = UGTO's Elite Assault Dread
AD = ICC's Assault Dread / UGTO = Assault Destroyer
Gang = K'Luths Ganglia
Mandy = K'Luths Mandable
Tranny = Transport
WH = Wormhole
SY = Shipyard
Dictor = Interdictor
CC = Command Carrier / Carrier Cruiser
CD = Combat Dread
CD = Command Dread / Carrier Dread
BD = Battle Dread
MD = Missile Dread
Flux Boat = A ship loaded out with a lot of flux
Elf Stacking = A ship loaded out with more than one Elf

lame = kluth
cob/cobbing= close orbit bombing (against the roc)
longjump= regular jumping between systems with no jumpgates (takes time)
Fluxer= ship based on mounting mult flux waves (easy target after flux goes off )
ECM boat= mostly extractor icc/ugto/kluth with 3 x ecm

Ben/Sono is offline....so that would explain the server downtime...his DSN doesnt even show up anymore...hope he's ok..
