People have been asking about Beta recently and wondering whats been fixed etc etc, whats going on and havnt noticed the Network selection box on the bottom right of the menu on the site.
Now I know this is possibly with current versions of PHPBB, and even if its not, you have some good php coders here so it might be possible to code in.
Anyway, my idea was that, why not have a link on the forum to the beta forum. That way, people dont have to be bored and just look around the website to find the beta, and we might actualy get more people in there if its advertised on the website more.
A forum quick link would work, or moving the network selector to a place on the website where eyes graze more often.
Its just an idea anyway, beats having to tell someone that
#2"blah blah blah this game sux blah blah blah because of so and so issue"
#1"so and so issue has been fixed in beta"
#2"wheres beta"
#1"*link*
#2"thanks"
Might also be a good idea to advertise the fact that beta is FREE and requires no subscription to play. Yes, people might play it more than release if that happens, but we need to find bugs right?, and that isnt going to happen with only 5-7 players in there.

Thanks Backslash. I've been wanting to give beta a try for a while now, but was under the impression that it was only available to select individuals.

Wow... that has to be one of the worst places to put the beta link... its a small enough box that it should be up top, maybe above latest news or below latest topics...
Shouldn't be any real PHP coding required for that one, just some HTML switcheroo in the base template file...
