I like the idea.

Just make explode spectacularly when destroyed. Like, say, Station-level damage. Make any K'luth cruisers/dreads think twice about hanging around one.
If at first you don't succeed, get a bigger space battleship and try again.

they should be different ships.

hurt ship cloaked while supply uncloaked is also bad idea.

however, this supply ship... flying battery or whatever, should be looked into as an alternative to the regular advanced supply ship, that way it gives the luthies somethin special to float thier boats.

We've discussed and slotted for a later patch a Shield Infuser ship. It can transfer power from its shields to friendly units to recharge them faster.

well thats what i said, but noone sees that apparently. the idea is a supply ship to not be near battle... so basically an uncloaked luth supply will have to be some 2k gu away from battle? i'm not sure what sensor range is but that's what supply ships, or atleast luth ones will have to do. ofcourse once the battered luth ships jump to them they'll be followed, so the supply will be unable to serve it's function, but well they could always stay 20k gu away that way the luth dreads etc can jump without likely being followed.
i'll assume since stealth isn't an asset to either human faction bringing their supplies into battle will still happen.

the only problem in the energy supply is to design it to be worthy on a battle field even if it can't shoot... because luth only need energy to any extent in battle

i just worry what'll happen is that energy supply vessel will become like some lil kid you gotta hold hands with while crossing the road so it doesn't get run over
and noone likes to babysit ships in darkspace ... even when they should

so keep that in mind when thinking how the ship will be designed

I DO NOT reamber place in reload on there and make sure i did not and thus there was NO reloads aboud the so nammed Flying battary
