Am i the only one that is having lag problems with the beta?
Ive crashed into like 5 planets during the stress test.

My ping was about 300, which isnt really that bad and the offset was 0.

Im assuming the normal Mv has better servers then the beta Mv?

Yep UGTO factories (i cant comment on other factions) seem only able to produce faction specific technology.

E.g. Luna despite having factories, a starport and a tech of 50, plenty of metal, heavy metal it cannot produce ECCM.

What happened to the ship engineering screen ? This used to be F3 but now planet engineering is F3.

If its still there I cannot find it.

I though planet capping was going to be made much more difficult, it seemed very easy for the Kluth, they just walked though half of sol in about 20 mins with a clevate and hive.

Are Kluth drop pods cloaked or are they effected by the ECM of dropping ship ? UGTO defense bases seem to be completly ineffective at shooting them down, when compared to UGTO drop pods which suffer a near 80% loss rate against the same planet Neptune.

log off, wait 2 minutes or so, and log back on, dont just log and come right back

Wyk 1 beam can shoot 12 kluth troops.We can cap only using point blank tactic

You are not the only one with lag I have been battleing massive lags and lockups in an attempt to get at least 2 hours in. At this point I have lost all hope. (there is a post about my lag issues see page 1)
And to add to my other post I have tried amny times over the weekend.
With this account and I created a clone just to see if I would have better luck with a different faction. All attempts were unsuccessful, and had the same result. Me locking up while the universe seems to be running fine arround me.

Shipyards - Station or any ships using shipyards to escape from death when low on hull... Attacking a station to 40% and having it disappear by using shipyard takes the biscuit...Shipyard should not allow ships which are damaged to use it or something...

kluth can now mount flux beams, but ugto cant (with the exception of the heavy supply which has one flux beam stock)

does anyone see something wrong with this picture?

FYI, most the balancing issues are moved to 1.483, the patch after the lag patch.

This patch is just SPECIFICALLY Designed to battle the wierd bugs and lag issues.
